PERSONALITY PROFILE

A BRIEF BIOGRAPHY OF MR. WILSON AGBOBU (ONI). AS HE BAGS ANOTHER AWARD (NEW GENERATION) FROM ROTARY INTERNATIONAL.

Mr. Wilson Agbobu, completed his primary education in 1987 at Ihioma primary school Agbor, where he later proceeded to Ogbemudein Secondary school, in 1988 where he obtained his WAEC.

Driven by unquenchable quest for Knowledge, he took a trip to India where he studied agricultural science at Panjab University in 1996. As an adventurous young man, having invested in real estate management in Nigeria in 2006, he travelled to over 8 countries which include BRAZIL, IRELAND, ARGENTINA, INDIA AND VENEZUELA.

Mr. Agbobu returned to Nigeria in 2012. Sharpened his agricultural skills and established a LOWISCO FARM, A DIVISION OF LOWISCO DYNAMICS LIMITED.

His training as a successful business man places him above his contemporaries. He has been a grassroot mobilizer, advocating for good governance though not a partisan politician.

As a result of his humane and amiable nature, Mr. Agbobu bagged several awards which include an Award of excellence by a Choreographic cultural group in India, a distinguished service award from the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ and a merit award from the Agbor Progressive Initiative API, among others.

He is presently the Special Assistant to the Dein of Agbor kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Benjamin Ikenchukwu, Obi Keagborekuzi 1.
He is open, accommodating and a detribalized Nigerian who is receptive to ideas, suggestions and visitors.

Mr. Agbobu, is happily married with kids.

DOCTOR JUMPS INTO LAGOS LAGOON ON HIS WAY FROM CHURCH

Officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency yesterday, searched for a medical doctor, who jumped into a lagoon on the Third Mainland Bridge, in the Adekunle area of Lagos State. It was learnt that the man, identified simply as Dr Allwell Orji,a medical doctor with Mount Zion Hospital, Isolo, Lagos was in a Sport Utility Vehicle en route to Lagos Island at about 4pm on Sunday when he asked his driver to stop after he allegedly received a call. ASABA THE Divisional Police Officer, DPO in charge of the ‘C’ Division, Asaba, SP Valentine Mbalu has been reportedly killed by his abductors 12 days after he was taken hostage by suspected Fulani herdsmen between Ekwoma and Umunede along the Benin/Asaba/Onitsha expressway. Recall that the unsuspecting Police Officer was abducted at about 4pm on the 5th of this month on his way to Asaba after spending weekend with his family at Agbor. A reliable source who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the decomposing corpse of the DPO was found in Umunede bush yesterday. He disclosed that one of the suspected kidnappers, a native of Fulani who sells water Mellon at Abraka within the Asaba metropolis has been arrested.
